During the pandemic and the social unrest, Davonna started a Black Massage Therapist Facebook group in June 2020. In a profession where there is 10% of minority LMTs, Black Licensed Massage Therapist is about 8.8%. This group was conceptualized and developed because she noticed there was a void in this space and she had some concerns and thoughts as a Black Massage Therapist and business owner. Now the group has over 1200 therapist nationally and internationally.
