LaToya Hill is an Eastern North Carolina native who relocated to Charlotte in 2006. She has a newly teen-aged daughter, who also loves using her hands through paint and stencil in creative arts. In the past seven years, she has transitioned her career from a paralegal working under the demands of a high volume law firm, to a CDL party bus driver, to a fortune 500 company, and finally owning one of the top massage therapy companies in Charlotte.
She has been in business since 2018 and already possesses a skill set that has allowed her take on professional athletes across the country. However, she aims to educate the city of Charlotte on wellness through massage related practices and acknowledging the power of posture.
In 2023, LaToya launched her mentorship program for other massage therapists, called Hill’n University, to build better mindsets in massage therapists. This helps form a better union and collaborative mentality among a highly competitive industry. That excessive competition usually results in poor skillset, lack of quality customer service, low client retention rates, and even poor mental health and self-care for some therapists.
LaToya enjoys listening to music, networking with friends, vacationing, teaching, growing her knowledge of the body, exploring better health options, and movie nights with her daughter. You will always catch an inviting smile on LaToya’s face and passion in her spirit when conducting conversation about the body and how massage can add value to your life.
